Several years back, Touch for Health Education joined a group of leaders in the field of Energy Kinesiology in supporting the concept of a unified effort to raise the awareness of this work. Adam Lehman has spearheaded this effort, and I feel there is a lot more we can do together. --- Matthew Thie

There are exciting things happening with the Awareness Council, and we’d like you to know what’s going on. So in this, our first e-newsletter, we would like to re-introduce ourselves, let you know about our goals, and alert you to the EKAC website with suggestions on how to best benefit from it.

The Purpose of the Awareness Council
You’ll notice our mission statement at the top of the page. This really says it all. The Awareness Council is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to fulfilling this mission. Funded solely through donation (tax-deductible), the funds are used create materials, generate public relations and marketing through multiple mediums (web, radio, TV, print, etc.), and fund raising. We believe that by raising the awareness of the public to the benefits of Energy Kinesiology, practitioners will see an increase in clients, instructors will have more students in their workshops, and organizations will get more members. It’s as simple as that.

How you can use the EKAC website
We encourage you to explore the EKAC website and use it as a resource. The site was designed to create a user-friendly description of Energy Kinesiology, with history, philosophy, descriptions of how Energy Kinesiology works and its benefits. There are links to the various organizations and Energy Kinesiology modalities as a means of providing resources to those who wish to learn more. In this way, the council is inclusive, and supports the growth of the general Energy K community.

For those of you who are already familiar with Energy Kinesiology, we encourage you to use the site for those times when someone asks you, “What is Energy Kinesiology?” “Where do I go to learn more?” This is exactly what the site is intended for.

Energy Kinesiology on TV!
The newest addition to the site is the movie we produced for Life and Leisure Television. Hosted by soap opera star Hunter Tylo, the video features John Thie, Wayne Topping, Norma Harnack, and other luminaries of Energy Kinesiology in a feature to let people know a little about what we do. Go watch the movie! We think you’ll really enjoy it.

How You Can Help
Because the Awareness Council is all about growth and awareness, a great way to help is to let people know about the Awareness Council site and encourage them to visit, read the site, watch the movies, and explore the links. To give the site a more user friendly name, you may tell your clients and friend the address is www.healthybodyenergy.com. This will connect to the site the same way as www.awarenesscouncil.com.

Naturally, a PR campaign of the scope we wish to embark on requires significant funding. This starts with our own community – You! Please consider a tax-deductible donation to support our concerted and focused effort to bring Energy Kinesiology to the American public.
